The famous Napoleon Express tourist train allows you to discover the Blacet valley from Lambel-Camors to Pontivy.
Every Wednesday and Sunday from June to September, board the Napoleon Express to enjoy the spectacular views of the territory. Admire the beauty of the Blavet valley, that of the Camors forest as well as the town of Pontivy, formerly “Napoléonville”. The inscription “Napoléonville” still appears at Pontivy station, look up and witness the evidence of this era!
If you wish to marvel at the landscapes of Brittany, the history of Pontivy, the beauty of the Blavet valley, the mystical Camors forest or if you have dreamt of travelling in an old railcar train from the 1950s -60s, don’t hesitate any longer, reserve your ticket aboard the Napoleon Express!
The Napoleon Express is operated by Chemis de Fer du Centre Bretagne (CFCB) covering a distance of 35 km. Five stops are served: Pontivy, Saint-Nicolas-des-Eaux, Saint-Rivalain, Coët Blavet in Quistinic and Lambel-Camors.

A document showing the map of the town of Pontivy and two tour circuits are shown in the carriages of the Napoleon Express. It is an opportunity to travel back in time, reliving 1000 years of history during your visit to Pontivy. The Napoleonic district, the Dukes of Rohan’s castle, the half-timbered houses, the old Napoleonic station, the imperial church and so many other things to explore!
